How We Price

Scrolling below you can see specific sample pricing. Let me first explain how we price and why, if you are unfamiliar. Many assembly services offered through the various 3rd party apps offer hourly pricing. This is not to your benefit as a client. In one recent example a client related to me, they were quoted $40 per hour for assembly of an Ikea 6 drawer dresser and an Ikea 3 drawer chest, with an estimate of 4-5 hours for assembly. This gave a range of $160-200 for the project, but no guarantee what would actually be charged. I gave them a guaranteed price of $100 in advance. The only one to benefit from this type of hourly pricing is companies or individuals who provide services by the inexperienced. They get their price no matter how inefficient or inexperienced they may be. In addition, if there is an issue that needs troubleshooting (as there often is and was in this specific instance), often the side work assembler will be unable or unwilling to adequately resolve it to your satisfaction. In addition, paying someone more money to take up more of your valuable time is a bad deal all the away around for you as the client. In this example, I completed the project in under 2 hours including cleaning up the assembly area.
